Miami International
Airport’s Lost and Found facility’s location and hours
of operation are:
Location: Near the
entrance to Concourse E, Level 2, of the terminal.
Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. daily (365 days a year)
Filing a Lost Item
Report
* You may file a lost
item report in person, by phone, or e-mail. You will need to provide
the following information when filing a lost item report:
o Name
o Address
o Telephone Number
o Date the item was last seen
o Location where item was last seen
o Complete description of the lost item (color, size, brand, etc.)
and its contents, if any
* If you think the item was stolen, you also may want to file
a stolen property report with the Miami-Dade Police Department
by calling 305-876-7377.
* Items found in the airport terminal, parking garages or drive
areas are stored securely in Lost and Found for 60 days before
disposition.
* For items lost or left on an airplane, please contact your airline.
Retrieving Lost Items
* Lost and Found’s
staff will secure all found items and make every effort to research
and locate potential owners. You may arrange for the return of
items by:
o On-site pickup: If you properly identify items, you may pick
them up during Lost and Found’s regular hours of operation.
We require a picture ID at time of pick up. You may pre-arrange
an after-hours pick up by calling 305-876-7377 during Lost and
Found’s regular hours of operation.
o Federal Express: With approved credit card or a FedEx account,
the Lost and Found Office can prepare items for shipment to you
Monday - Friday.
o U.S. Mail: The Lost and Found office can return small items
via U.S. Mail.

MDAD Lost and Found Office

Armed Forces Center
The Armed Forces Center is located at Concourse E 2nd level. The
office is run by volunteers seven days a week from 9AM to 9PM.
Amenities include snacks, TV and a computer with internet access.
ATMs / Bank
Passengers have access to a full service bank on Concourse B,
Level 4. Automated teller machines (ATMs) are located at the Service
Center on Concourse G, Level 2, and throughout the terminal’s
second level.
Auditorium
MIA has a multimedia-ready auditorium located at Concourse A,
fourth level. It can be reserved for special functions and meetings.

Animal Relief
MIA has a dual surface service animal relief area located at the
arrival level at Concourse E. Additional service animal relief
locations, including an upper level location, are schedule to
be added in 2008. Information will be updated upon completion.
Baggage Checkroom /
Storage
The Baggage Checkroom is located on Concourse E, Level 2 and is
open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Storage charges are subject to baggage
size. With proper identification (e.g., driver’s license,
birth certificate, passport), affidavits can be obtained for $10
at the baggage checkroom. Other services, including notary services
and baggage accessories, are also available. For more information

Barber Shop / Hair
Salon
MIA’s unisex barber shop/hair salon is located in the terminal
at Concourse E, Level 2.
Chapel
For passengers’ convenience and need, MIA provides a non-denominational
chapel room located on Concourse B, Level 4 of the terminal.
Conference Rooms
Conference rooms are available in the Miami International Airport
Hotel on Concourse E, Level 7. Contact the hotel directly at (305)
871-4100.
Currency Exchange
MIA has foreign currency exchange booths at six locations on Level
2 and in the Concourse E Greeter’s Lobby on Level 1. The
booth in Concourse E operates from 5:30 A.M. to 11 P.M.
Food / Dining
MIA’s terminal offers a wide variety of foods and dining
choices ranging from snacks and fast food, to fine dining, such
as at MIA Hotel’s Top of the Port restaurant, which offers
panoramic views and is a great spot to enjoy breakfast, lunch
or dinner.
Hotel
The Miami International Airport Hotel, located at Concourse E,
Level 2, offers travelers the convenience of an airport location,
the luxury of 260 soundproof rooms and the Top of the Port restaurant
for fine dining. The hotel also offers well-appointed conference
/ board rooms and meeting facilities. For more hotel information,

Information Center
The Miami-Dade Aviation Department operates the Tourist Information
Center located on Concourse E, Level 2, near the airport’s
hotel. The counter is open from 5 A.M. to 10 P.M. daily, 365 days
a year. For additional information, please call 305-876-7000
Internet Access
Data port connections and Wi-Fi areas are available at various
locations throughout the terminal. You may ask for specific locations
at one of our Information Centers, or by picking up one of the
white paging phones located throughout the terminal.
Paging
Multilingual paging is available throughout the terminal. To request
a page, simply pick up any of the white courtesy phones located
throughout the terminal. Paging service is available 24 hours
per day, 7 days a week.
Post Office
A full service post office is located on Concourse B, Level 4.
Mailboxes and postage machines are also available on Concourse
E, 2nd Level.
Press Center
The International Press Center is located on Concourse E, Level
2.
Self-service Luggage
Carts
As an option to skycaps, rentable self-service luggage carts are
available for passengers. Within the Federal Inspection Services
enclosures, carts are provided free of charge to arriving international
passengers.
Shoeshine Service
A shoeshine stand is located on Concourses E, Level 2.
Shopping
MIA’s terminal is home to a wide array of award-winning
shops offering innovative shopping experiences and an assortment
of merchandise ranging from magazines to luxury leather goods
and the latest fashion apparel. Please click here for a complete

Spa Services
MIA’s Jetsetter Spa is located between Concourses G and
H, level 2. Services include manicures, pedicures, massages, and
spray tanning. Passengers can also enjoy taking a rest in one
of the spa’s Sleep Pods. MIA is the first airport in the
U.S. to have these pods which give the user a quiet and comfortable
environment to sleep and relax.
Translation Service
A translation Language Line is used by MDAD staff to access a
translator for patrons whose language is not among those spoken
by our multilingual staff. In addition to staffing MIA’s
Information Counters, MDAD’s multilingual staff provide
interpreting and translating service throughout all public areas
of the terminal and in the Federal Inspection facilities.
VIP Clubs
MIA has various airline-operated VIP clubs. In addition to these,
the airport also has three MDAD-operated “Club America”
VIP clubs that allow airlines that do not have a dedicated club,
to serve their passengers. Club amenities and services include:
baggage holding area; business center with private work stations,
fax, copier, internet access, cable television entertainment,
flight information monitors, newspapers, magazines, telephones
(free local calls), showers, full complimentary beverages. Club
America locations are E Lobby, second level; F Lobby, second level;
and at the end of Concourse F, third level.
Western Union
Passengers may contact a Western Union representative at the main
currency exchange booth on Concourse E, Level 2, Monday through
Friday 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., or obtain directions to the nearest
locations in the Airport area from our Information Center at Concourse
E level 2, or by using any of the white paging phones located
throughout the terminal.
Wheelchair Service
Courtesy wheelchair service is offered through the air carriers
upon request. To make sure a wheelchair is available at the proper
time, it is best to reserve one in advance of your flight departure
or arrival by contacting your airline. Wheelchair assistance may
also be requested at airline ticket counters.
